How Inclusive Learning at Lighthouse Labs Works<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Prior to joining Lighthouse Labs, Amanda Sterling was already a keen campaigner of diversity and inclusivity. \u201cI have been involved in volunteer work in my community, including serving the board of directors for a private education institution and chairing an income security working group.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sterling brings this rich background to Lighthouse Labs. Her goal: help shape a learning community that empowers students as they work their way toward their careers. If students have concerns or requests regarding accessibility and accommodations, Sterling is the person they can count on. \u201cMy role helps streamline the accommodation process by providing students and staff with a consistent point of contact for all things student accommodation and accessibility-related,\u201d Sterling explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once a request is made, Sterling\u2019s team works closely with the Education Delivery team to assess and implement the best accommodation measures for the student.
