\u201cI met some people who didn\u2019t want online education to be what it had been for so many years,\u201d Eremin said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eremin and his colleagues felt that many of the options around them were overpromising and underdelivering when it came to helping people successfully change careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll marketing and no product, and nothing in terms of delivering on promises. You\u2019d get out of it and couldn\u2019t do anything,\u201d Eremin said. \u201cWe saw that there was a difference in the Western market, and we cared more about the [instructional] design, so we went on to start a new product.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
