IBM which is short for International Business Machines Corporation (try saying that fast three times), is a New York based multinational tech company with offices in over 170 countries. IBM officially began back in 1911 with the acquisition of four major inventions by various creators. These included one of the first time clocks which was able to record worker hours, the dial recorder, the tabulating machine, and the computer scale. The four companies that manufactured these products were bound together by Charles Ranlett Flint; who would go on to be known as the founder of IBM.
