Getting into the program is fairly easy. This program is designed to train you to become a blue teamer, since most of the jobs in cyber are in blue team. You'll be exposed to a myriad of industry technologies throughout the course. Your success will be heavily determined on whether you put in the time and effort (going to office hours, trying to get help when you don't understand a concept, asking questions when you need clarification, engaging/working with your classmates, etc.). If you don't...
Pros
The class is very engaging, and hands-on during practice time. Instructors go the extra mile to help you with office hours, and respond to your messages during non-office/non-class hours, and make sure you understand the material being...
Cons
Was part of the founder's cohort, so there's bound to be some glitches. You may have to put in some extra hours if you don't have any background knowledge/experience in IT. There's also some knowledge gaps that need to be filled in, they...

I attended Galvanize DSI in NYC. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would not have the job I have today we’re it not for the skills I gained there. However I would say if you’re considering a bootcamp because you think the data science alone can boost your career I would caution you. I think in the end there’s nothing you can learn in 3 months to totally transform yourself. You need a plan. You need a story that you’re going tell. How are the skills you have today going to compliment...
Pros
One of the instructors was fantastic. The classmates I had were very collaborative and interesting. Small classes in general help you learn better and get individual attention. I love the emphasis on “growth mindset” and the resume...
Cons
We don’t spend enough time learning the crucial data engineering work. One of the instructors was impatient and unhelpful.
