The time spent with the Cambridge Spark team was rewarding. It was not all work and work was always filled with interesting challenges. It was a great environment to learn new skills from the instructors as well as from interactions with other participants.
Pros
Knowledge instructors across the breath of the machine learning landscape; weekend sessions suitable for those that need to keep their full time jobs while studying; practical capstone projects.
Cons
No real cons outside of the level of career support after completion but I am sure that has gotten better since my time there.

The course was a great way to network and gave me good insights into the practical world of data science, with the common tools used like Python, Jupiter notebook, github and SQL. The lecturers were really knowledgeable in the field and the pace was good for me. I also liked that it was in a classroom setting as I formed part of a study group to do coursework and go through the course material with other students. I recommend it!
