They’ll charge you 24k for a $500 certificate and a wholesale laptop. Don’t even think about using your “certification” outside of the state. There’s no actual employment support, unless you have previous experience in the field. It’s a scam school, I’m years out and never got anything but debt out of this. And I did the program twice because it’s so rushed, the instructors are just trying to meet quotas and get you out. Go to a real school and save yourself thousands.

When the IT company that I worked for decided to close the KC office after working for them over 20 years I decided it was time to upgrade to a newer coding platform. Fortunately because of the office closing I was able to get my tuition paid for otherwise if might have been more difficult to afford this course. All of the instructors were very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions about issue you were having about any assignments.

The school helped take a very daunting and complex subject and broke it down into easily digestible pieces. In the four month course, I learned the basics of being a full-stack developer, which would lead to excellent jobs.

The Application/Web Developer (or Coding) training is based primarily on Microsoft’s enterprise .NET C# (Visual Studio) development platform which is utilized by a vast majority of Kansas City employers. However, just as the technology workplace is integrating and utilizing more and newer open source coding tools, students are also exposed to the newest technologies. Students enrolled in the program will receive all necessary courseware, a laptop computer (which the student keeps), supplemental study materials, supplemental seminars and workshops, placement assistance and other student services and access to post-graduation continuing education events.
