I completed Codeup's Full Stack Web Development Course in June of 2019, entering the market as an entry level software developer. I would highly recommend attending a CS bootcamp over the self-taught route to gain access to instructor-led lectures, an extensive professional network and benefit from academic support and better job prospects. Codeup, now known as a career accelerator, differentiates itself from the competition by providing a comprehensive instructor-led based course covering the...
Pros
-Codeup offers their students many scholarship opportunities and is one of the very few bootcamps that accepts the GI bill. -Comprehensive full-stack capstone project presented to recruiters/employers gets you lots of exposure and is great...
Cons
-Codeup is $$$ -9-5 instructor led class times is unnecessarily long. -Industry valued frameworks like Angular or React weren't taught during my time at Codeup, although the curriculum may have changed and incorporated them.

I never had any coding experience in my life and the way they teach it here makes it easy for people to be able to learn. The instructors are professional and are always willing to help if you ever need it. The staff there were amazing and friendly, and it was just an overall happy and helpful environment. They accepted the GI Bill so that was a plus for me(since I used that I can't really talk about the price).
Pros
The teaching style and the follow-along lessons really got you comfortable with the syntax of what you were learning. The way they separate instructors to teach their strong points was pretty neat and beneficial to me(I don't know if it...
Cons
Sometimes not everyone in the class takes it as seriously as you would like them to and sometimes you have to partner up with someone who can't or won't be able to contribute. Sometimes people take it too seriously and break off into...

Great company with a dedicated team.

Pros
Great instructors and staff made signing up, going to class, and growing my professional network very easy.
Cons
These concepts can be hard to grasp at first, the instructors sometimes use jargon without previously/post specifying what it means.
