Impact Byte teaches you about coding from basic level, even the difference about let and const :p, so it's really good for a beginner who just started to learn about code. You will be stressed during Bootcamp, because coding is hard ofc. But compared to other bootcamp like that with fox logo, the pressure is not that hard, there are downside with lack of pressure of course, like you will be spoon-fed by u mentor too much, therefore your problem-solving skill will not improve much.
- Begginner friendly
- Cheaper than competitors
- Does not kick you when you fail
- Mentor is friendly (I've been into another Bootcamp, where the mentor is really harsh, and is a nightmare for pure beginner)
in my opinion, impact byte is great bootcamp for beginner like me. They have well prepared syllabus, up to date curriculum, and competent instructor.
- Great syllabus
- Up to date curriculum
- Experience instructor with they skill with backend and frontend
- Final project at the end of study
- Max 12 student in one batch with 2 instructor
- Lunch service everyday
- Small class room
- Bootcamp held on working space, sometimes it doesnt feel comfort
- React is the only one framework that we learn
The curriculum is designed for beginner (who already have strong logical thinking). I don't recommend you to join any coding bootcamp if you can't split solution into small steps.
The instructors is so great, very understanding, clear explanation.
The cons is just on final project, there are only few of hr watching us and looks like they were not looking for talent, that's not a problem for me actually, but for anyone who are join coding bootcamp to get a job this will be a big...
Intensive, yet packed with wide-ranging topic about web development
I didn't expect much from an 8-week class, but they really do take applicants with zero knowledge in web development--some of them don't even have background in IT--to graduates who are able to build full suite of web applications.
The project-based assignments and the mentor with experience in the industry help students to, not just blindly follow the tutorials, apply the knowledge they have learned throughout the course.
My class in 2018 had 1 mentor for a class of 9. This low mentor-to-student ratio often caused the mentor having to pause the teaching process, go around the class, and check every students to make sure they were catching up with the lesson.
