This boot camp was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I learned more in the six months of the program than I ever had before, including my undergraduate in an unrelated field. The instructor and teaching assistants were fantastic, and the curriculum was extensive. I won't lie, it was hard and frustrating at times, but as long as you stick with it, it will all begin to click.

UCR is a rapidly growing UC campus that is quickly developing a reputation for innovation and diversity. It is located in the Inland Empire, and while bootcamp programs may largely be online, the location matters because the IE region of Southern California is being revitalized, and there is a great deal of interest and investment happening in UCR grads. The instructors are all UC-caliber, which is excellent, and programs are targeted, mindful, and well delivered.

Pros

Really thoughtful and well-connected instructors who think out of the box for students, the curriculum rivals any other program, and the university community is loaded with opportunities and disciplines through which to apply your skills.

Cons

Career Services could be better, but with the right academic connections and a diligent effort on your part, you will be fine.
