If you're matriculating in the cohort, I strongly advise you become proficient in Javascript prior to your first day in class. This will be vital to your success and what you will retain from the coursework after you are done. Your assignments in class are projects for your portfolio if you wish to pursue a career in web development.
Pros
The tutoring sessions I found as a lifeline for troublesome development issues. The career development team helped marketing my aspirations as a full stack developer.
Cons
I was not disclosed how much Javascript knowledge was required before starting this program.

Who started Career Karma?

Created 2 years ago

So Career Karma was started by Artur, Ruben and myself out of our own struggles career transitioning into Tech. Our journey took place in 2014-2015 and if it wasn't for the three of us doing it together we wouldn't be here today. Once we got our high paying jobs in tech and I was working as a Software Engineer ... I say an incredible opportunity for others like me who were trying to learn how to code on their own but failing to complete their transition. Three years into us...

How do you successfully pass the technical interviews for Flatiron and Hack Reactor (Software Engineering and Cyber Analytics) ?

Created 1 year ago

Good question. They are very different so I would recommend doing prep courses for both to try it out. What resources do they recommend you review to get accepted? What they think will...
