I applied for the UT Coding Bootcamp over a year ago because I wanted a career move, something that would be intellectually challenging and would constantly involve problem solving. I figured development would be a good move and being fresh out of college it was looking like I would have to go back to school for another 2 years to get a bachelor's or master's in computer science. That is when I stumbled upon the "educational bootcamp" world. After looking at a few other bootcamp schools, I...

Two months into a six-month, part-time Full Stack JS bootcamp and even though it's kicking mine and everyone's ass, it is soooo worth it. The instructor, Calvin Carter, is a coding beast. The TAs, tutors and every other person on the staff is there to help see you cross the finish line. This course sets you up for success and I highly recommend looking into it.
Pros
- World-class instructors. I had minimal, if not ZERO coding experience before this course and am now feeling confident in what I'm doing. - Tutoring assistance: Utilizing the tutors while you're in the course is pivotal. - Success...
Cons
- Stress factor: I was never this stressed as an undergraduate. Do not take the moniker "bootcamp" lightly - this course is TOUGH to say the least. - Course load: ABC (Always be coding). Do not sign up then expect to sit in class on...

Pros
* Covered a lot of topics in the curriculum * Had multiple projects through out the course * Knowledgeable teachers * Was able to build a portfolio as final project
Cons
* Did not cover a lot of the tools that were expected * Was not able to go in-depth on many topics * The TAs were not as experienced (This was some of their first jobs)
