Linux Core is MTS Class's most popular program, training students for Linux system administration and engineering roles through real-world job simulations over 30 weeks. Classes meet Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday evenings with a Friday study hall; hybrid attendance via Microsoft Teams or in-person. The IT Help Desk program covers 124 hours over 19 weeks through a combination of self-paced CompTIA CertMaster study and weekly instructor-led Friday evening study halls. Students earn CompTIA IT Fundamentals and A+ Core 1 & 2 certifications. Admissions require a computer with camera/mic, a basic computer skills assessment, and a personal interview.
