If you are making a career change to tech, this school should be an option for you. The admissions team was great; very helpful, very positive, very consistent & proficient (If you get Zack Little, know you will be taken care of). The Instructor Bryan Arnold & Coach Lindsey Berlin were available for guidance and assistance when it came to problems I had with the pre-work for the course as well as the tech interview. This was before I even got into the program! Once I got into the program, it...
Pros
The campus life (campus events, free coffee, game nights, happy hours, guest speakers), the academic team, the admissions team, the coordinators, 24/7 access to the campus, the free resources, networking opportunities (This is before we...
Cons
The Houston 02-17-2020 cohort almost didn't happen so the pre-work was open to DS students fairly late. Half way through the SE pre-work I realized I was working on the wrong pre-work (it was the only one available to work on). Being that...

First of all, I was paired with a mentor who was unprepared and/or uninterested in actually helping me. He gave me almost no feedback on my projects, evaded answering direct questions and didn't look at my Google docs until we were already in a call. I put up with this for a bit in the hopes things would improve before getting frustrated and asking to switch. So glad I did that! I'm paired with a much better mentor now and the whole process of switching me occurred in less than a day. But yes I...
Pros
Mentor, good curriculum overall, attentive and helpful student advisors, great career counselors, attractive and easy to use interface.
Cons
A bit expensive for what you're getting, some bad apple mentors, some articles used in curriculum are not professional, very few career counselors so you have to wait about a month to speak to them although they are very professional and...
