Attending Fullstack Academy was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I completed the Flex Immersive program in March 2020. Everything about the school is very well managed and thought-out. I was balancing a very busy schedule and was concerned initially about potential changes in the schedule, but in my full six months there we never had a single rescheduled class. The teachers across the entire experience, from Bootcamp Prep through Foundations and throughout the Flex program, were truly...
Pros
No-assholes policy puts everyone on an even playing field; Teachers and staff listen and respond to feedback; Tech stack taught is constantly changing and relevant; Teachers across the board are fantastic; Staff are incredible and manage...
Cons
Honestly, there are none. But like anything, what you get out of the experience is directly proportional to what you put in.

Fantastic program

Took the HR immersive having known one strongly typed language prior but no JS experience. The curriculum did an amazing job of dropping you right into a code base and having you figure out what needed to be done to find solutions which I though accurately mimicked real world experience. The teachers and support staff were top notch and cared greatly about student advancement and, ultimately, job success.
Pros
- great teachers/staff - real world prep curriculum - great job hunting support system - great alumni community
Cons
- expensive, but I believe they offer a job offer percentage now.
