I recently finished up the Coding Temple Part-Time online 12-week Bootcamp and had an absolutely fantastic experience with it. Right off the bat, major credit has to go to my instructor, Christian, for his stellar job of communicating clearly and plainly for a coding newbie like myself. From day one there was a very fun tone set for our class that took most of the traditional dry/boring-ness of traditional education completely out of the equation. Don't let that fool you however, it was a...
Pros
- Excellent Instructors - Non-class hours tutors/help availability (even on weekends!) - post grad support including job search, interview prep, resume/linkedin building, etc...
Cons
This did not apply to me as I was very lucky and had a small cohort of classmates, but I could see class-size being a drawback if you're in a class of ~20 other students... again, not a personal experience but an assumption.

An excellent Bootcamp choice!

Prior to choosing a coding bootcamp, I spent months researching all my options. I created pros and cons spreadsheets and had many phone calls with recruiters. I’m here to tell you, look no further! Coding Temple was the best decision I could have made! I completed the self-paced program in 3-months with no prior coding experience. Never in a million years did I think I could learn to write full-stack applications in just a couple of months, but the program is structured in such a way that even...
Pros
The community and resources are one of my favorite parts! From day 1 you are welcomed into a community of students and staff who are all there to support you 100%. There is a plethora of resources, including technical interview practice,...
Cons
The only con I have is that at prior to enrolling, I was awarded a scholarship and specifically asked if it could be used for the self-paced program, but once I enrolled, they suddenly changed that and wouldn’t let me use the scholarship....

I did research on bootcamps and read tons of reviews online and on Reddit. I applied to several bootcamps and passed a technical assessment, but my inner voice and connections from space told me this was not the right place for me. And I started from the beginning. One day I found a hidden gem-Coding Temple (And now I can say that, because before I had a lot of doubts). I applied, took the assessment, and from the first second before bootcamp even started, I got my first coding challenge to...
Pros
Instructors, career support.
Cons

From the start of the bootcamp to the "end" you were never alone in your new journey. Once enrolled, I was given pre-work that must be completed before the start of your cohort. I was also added to the Coding Temple community through Slack, with many channels. It was reassuring to know I could simply reach out and get assistance from either the instructors, TAs, students, etc. The course work is very fast-paced and we had homework every night. Being dedicated and giving it my all helped me...
Pros
Being exposed to so many different coding scenarios Live-instructor led lectures Slack Coding Temple community After hours instructors

Pros
Amazing teachers, not only did I learn how to code but I learned how to think like a developer!
Cons
The only con was that it ended, I honestly had so much fun and miss my class dearly already

I was in the 6 month self-paced program at Coding Temple from April to September 2022. It was a hard road to say the least. A working parent who has most of the responsibility of keeping the house in order because of my wife's schedule put a strain on the 6 months I couldn't have imagined. My instructors were Brandon Apol, Christian Askew and Schardre Dent during the 6 month program. They were always willing to help, but were also able to deflect back to me when it was imperative that I figure...
Pros
self paced was a huge benefit being a working parent.
Cons
a little more teaching about the problems with imports and modules that you face would have been a little more helpful but all in all I have no complaints

Excellent curriculum

The curriculum was great it was just very Gary paced as expected for a 10 week course. You are basically trying to cram so much knowledge in so little time, but definitely worth the experience.
Pros
The instructor , Brian was super patient and he always answered the questions students and in a very eloquent manner
Cons
Too fast paced

I did a lot of research, talking to so many different recruiters, and finally chose to go with Coding Temple. So glad I did. I loved my experience. It was definitely tough and stressful but I enjoyed every minute of it. The support they have here is amazing, the staff are great at what they do, instructors are knowledgable, down to earth, genuinely great people, insanely patient, and your biggest fans. Having graduated, I'm even more blown away by the post grad support. The resources here are...

Cons
A natural con for a FT bootcamp: hard to feel confident in just 10 weeks. With that said, you get what you put into it; important to realize that the post grad work requires just as much effort as during the course.

Great instruction. Great vibe. Great job search and technical resources after graduation.
Pros

I had a great experience at Coding Temple. I completed a full-time 10 week immersive course and it was tough. Lot of cancelled plans and late nights working. But if you feel ready, I would highly recommend this bootcamp! I don't think there's ever a "perfect" time to make a decision like this. You just have to take risks sometimes and trust yourself. If I could go back, I would have prepared more. They suggest 2 weeks to complete all of the prework assignments and I only had like 6 days. I...
