I finished the Foundations program a few months ago and I can't say I really see the value in the boot camp. It is self-paced, which is great for flexibility, but not so great when it comes to feedback. I really didn't like the fact that so many different "mentors" were reviewing my work. I got so many conflicting suggestions and advice that it made the whole experience frustrating. I had a stressful experience because of poor directions primarily. some mentors give contradicting feedback or feedback is given in the wrong order. you are committed to resubmitting your assignments until you receive an approval instead of a grade which becomes very toxic. in some cases, I had more design knowledge and experience than some of the mentors. the course does not acknowledge grey areas in design rules and the modules need major updating. Recently paid $1900 dollars for this program and then fell sick and wound up in hospital. When I tried to resume my courses- didn’t even get past 2 courses- they locked me out and said they would not adjust program despite medical records/evidence. Not only did I waste so much money on this, but the staff was so rude and money hungry they didn’t care. It would’ve taken nothing for them to let me do the program I paid for but they refused.
