I can't say enough good things about Boise Code Works. Everyone that works there is absolutely amazing and only invested in your success. Everyone that works at Code Works is there just to see people succeed and teach them as much knowledge about coding as possible. Not only that but they offer an amazing employment placement plan and set up to get a job after graduating by providing as much help as possible. This was one of the most exciting educational experiences in my life and would hope if...
Pros
Current Application Knowledge, Amazing Teachers, Amazing Staff, Great Campus, Great Curriculum.
Cons
There's none to list other than Tim eating all the chips.

As I rapidly approach one year since graduation, I still credit my decision to attend CodeWorks as being the best choice of my professional career. The instructors were phenomenal, the curriculum was rigorous, and Brittany offers world-class advice on how to transition into the industry. When considering the difficulty of this program, I won’t sugar coat it. It’s hard! This course was more challenging than my entire bachelor’s degree. It’s not enough to be smart - you must be prepared. As...
Pros
-Brittany’s career support is highly underrated. -Instructors are all incredibly knowledgeable. -You will have many opportunities to practice tech interviews.
Cons
No guarantee of a job.

I loved taking the Full-Stack Web Development course here at Codeworks. They have a Udemy course to complete before starting class to get a feel for the course style as well as to help you decide if this type of work is interesting for you. As soon as I started, I knew I'd love it. The course material is tough, but also really fun. I loved every minute of it.
Pros
I learned a ton in the short time I was there. The staff is great at teaching and explaining all of the topics. The structure of the curriculum is set up very well and while it's fast, it's also manageable.
Cons
The only con I have is that I did not get a realistic expectation of how long it takes and how hard it is to find a good job after graduation. I wouldn't change my decision by any means. I just wish I knew this prior to the last 2 weeks of...

I loved coming to class (still attending but COVID-19 so online now). The staff is friendly, energetic, and passionate about teaching and helping students. Even after you've graduated. They go above and beyond just teaching the curriculum and support you in finding a job during and after. I've been taking the Hybrid course which was mainly just a part-time night class. I learned a ton and was able to land a job before I even finished. You not only learn the skills and the tech but also best...
Pros
Most everything. Staff is probably the highlight. They teach with passion and care about you and your budding career just as much. Plus just being confident in knowing you're learning best practices and not just how to accomplish a...
Cons
I took the night classes so I didn't have as much support w/ projects after hours as much as I would've liked. But they're a smaller staff so that's understandable. You still had other students and graduates to ask questions in Slack...

Boise CodeWorks is a great code camp. They are really good at taking students of any skill level, building their confidence and experience and connecting them with employers. The staff are passionate about what they do and genuinely care about the lives and success of their students.
Pros
They treated student success as a real priority and helped connect us to employers. They where also really good at catering the course work to different skill levels. The content was approachable for students new to the field while still...
Cons
Some aspects of the course felt thrown together last minute (this was several years ago, when they where fairly new).

I decided after years in healthcare it was time to do something I love which is coding. I googled around and found BoiseCodeWorks here in Boise, ID. I have to say, what an incredible and challenging experience. It's a three month full stack program that starts with HTML/CSS and you end with more skills than you could imagine. It's not easy, and they don't make it easy but that's exactly what set me up for success post graduation. They do a fantastic job of teaching people with different levels...
Pros
*Great coverage in a short amount of time *Solid and fast paced so you cover a lot of ground *Hands on experience. You leave being able to speak to what you know as well as prove what you know
Cons
*It costs money. However, they were less expensive than the other local options and I feel they have better preparation for the working world and proven success cases. *As I covered in the Pros, it is fast paced so don't do it if you...

TLDR; Going to Boise Codeworks was the best decision of my life. The staff is amazing, fun, and knowledgeable. They help you with your job search. The curriculum prepared me for my job. I love my new career. Attending Boise Codeworks was hands down the most (and best) life changing decision I ever made. When I decided to attend a coding bootcamp I had been studying on my own at home (nights and weekends) for several months. I had hit a wall and knew I was struggling to move forward without...
Pros
Excellent staff, excellent curriculum, they build a community, assistance with job placement
Cons
Honestly I can't think of any, I loved my experience

Boise CodeWorks had a very progressive and in touch curriculum. They are actively looking to see what the industry will need and where it is moving towards and work on integrating that into their teachings. The professors are knowledgable, kind, and very willing to go beyond all measures to ensure you succeed in the class and beyond that. In general, you'd really want to try and fail in order to, they put in too much work to let you fall through the cracks. The course itself is 12 weeks and...
Pros
- Relevant curriculum that is scoped to a manageable and employable level. No glitz and glam, just straight learning code and more importantly, learning how to learn to code. - Great community engagement and networking - Constant...
Cons
- A little more flexibility of framework would be nice
