Disclaimer: graduated a few years ago, and the school might have changed. The course was very fast-paced and covered a lot of topics in a short amount of time. Some instructors were great, but some were less than professional. That being said, the last time I checked, those instructors had already left NEXT. I found that some course materials were left vague. From my observation, some people thrived regardless and was able to be self-sufficient, however some people struggled, so it's...See more

- Some instructors were very knowledgable - learnt a lot from them - Conducive environment - Learnt a lot in a short amount of time - good enough to get a job if you're able to catch up with the curriculum

Cons

- Some instructors weren't as great - but my instructors have already left the school - Course materials were lacking sometimes

This is a full-time Bootcamp taken over a period of 3 months covering basic front-end with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript ES6, React.js, and backend using Python + Flask Framework. An underwhelming experience for the online delivery

I enjoyed the bootcamp and gained significant value from attending, however, the delivery over an online platform really took alot out from the experience. I have sympathy over the instructors but I think more can be done to show that you're truly there for the students. Great content and syllabus but for the price, the delivery has to improve.

Pros

- Great content to guide your journey - Challenge based so prepare to learn by doing (can be very frustrating in the beginning) - Good community

Cons

- Poor delivery of content - Unprofessional although I'm not sure if its to just have a chill tone to the bootcamp but people pay thousands so it would be really nice to see some effort/care towards how the lectures are presented.
