I’ve been picking away at RMOTR data science curriculum for a year now, my job has super busy seasons and then slower seasons and so I’m not able to just sit down and bust out 6 straight weeks of coding - instead I go back and forth, taking bits of the course and applying them to my job, and then taking problems in my job and bringing them back to RMOTR to get insight and instruction. Cons

Not many for me, maybe if you’re looking for a full time, 14 hour a day kind of program than this wouldn’t be for you - but for a part time remote course, this is the best

RMOTR was a great crash course in Data Science - taking students from no (or little) knowledge of coding through to a working knowledge of practical data science with a focus on the bigger toolsets used in the work force. Our "Web Development with Django" course is great for Python developers that are willing to get a job as Web developers or want to create their our products/startups. You will start with a quick overview of all the Django concepts, and jump directly into the most advanced features of the framework. We dedicate a big part of the course to teach you about HTTP concepts, MVC frameworks and RESTful architectures. You will be writing an entire RESTful API using the well know "django-rest-framework" library. The program aims to teach you things that you won't find in most of the common resources, like: good practices based on experience, conventions, most used tools, building reusable Django apps and uploading them to pypi, deploying your Django app or API, etc.
