Having taken the online course at Shillington I never actually felt that I retained what was taught. The work pace especially in the layers section done by Anthony was too fast. There are many other courses and I did a Udemy course which was a better introduction than theirs. I then went to Blue Sky and understood a lot more about the practical side of things. There were 12 others and the teacher cannot dedicate enough time to each one.
Pros
Teachers kind but content limited
Cons
I did not like that 12 students in a class. It is very expensive and I would have had I gone back in the past not paid more than £1000 let alone over £9,0000!

Could have been a decent experience if the teaching staff was not downright mean, sometimes aggressive, and overall negative. Based on the reviews I see online both now and when I was researching wether or not to attend, it is clear that the school keeps a sharp eye on presenting positive experiences. While we all had fun together, it was really our student comradery that kept our spirit alive in the classroom. You could luck out with great teachers as our neighboring class did, but my...
Pros
Good starter course, but be advised it is most definitely a starter course and will not have you prepared for a job in design unless you go in already knowing your way around Adobe.
Cons
For those who start from scratch this will not get you the experience you need. Most of my colleagues did not get work in Graphic Design following this program.

Shillington is really committed to getting you ready for work. You go through the process of learning how to deal with briefs, drip-feeding you more and more design aspects as you go through the course. Not only do you learn all the design fundamentals but you learn how a design studio is run.
Pros
You get the chance to work with a wide range of teachers that all have different experiences in the industry and they are all super helpful. The behind the scenes guys are always on hand to ease concerns and make the experience as seamless...
Cons
The only downside was probably down to the pandemic. Something completely out of their control. I joined during the first post-corona class and there was a little bit of a learning curve, but it really didn't hinder my learning experience.
