I started in Ubiqum Code Academy because to a funding I received from the Catalunya Service of occupation. I really loved the course I learned so much from the beginning such as building a page with html and css and after pushing it beyond with JavaScript and Vue framework. At the end we learnt how to work in agile methodologies and with our own single web application, with api rest and implementing google analytics. Pros

To know how to build a webpage from the scratch using the latest technologies.

Cons

The only cons it was in my special case I had trouble finding a job and I had to find something else in which I’m now. But moving forward using the knowledge Ubiqum gave me to find a job. Because I find myself with confidence to do it !

My experience at Ubiqum Code Academy was amazing. In only 5 months I could learn much more than I expected, being supported by a great staff of professionals that guide you always you need them. In my opinion, the best of the course is that you're not only taught how to manage Data Analytics tools (i.e. R, Python, etc. ) but also to develop a way of thinking as a Data Analyst, being able to provide valuable answers to real business cases through the use of Big Data.

Pros

- Highly qualified mentors. - Emphasis on developing a Data Analyst way of thinking. - Agile methodology. - 50% Payment agreement when you find a job.

Cons

- The old location of the Academy offered much more opportunites than the current coworking space.

Studying at Ubiqum is has been quite an experience for me. I met awesome colleagues and instructors at the same time I was learning how to code. The projects were entertaining as well as challenging, and really made you learn the general aspects of programming.

Pros

- Learn to code - Work environment although you're a student - Awesome companionship - Great mentors

Cons

- Stress at the end of each project - Sometimes you'd wish to be rich so you don't have to learn how to code (really, be prepared to feel frustrated)
