Ubiqum Code Academy Review:

I really wanted a change and I knew web development was something that interested me but I didn't want to go back to university for 4 years so I decided to enroll in a BootCamp and after a lot of research, Ubiqum looked like the perfect place. I had my doubts of course, will I really find a job as a web developer after only 3 months of learning how to code? am I throwing away my money (that I didn't have a lot of)? But I just went for it and I was amazed since day 1! It is as intensive as they...See more

Pros

Learning more than you think you will. Acquiring mad tech skills Learning how to learn. One of the best things I took with me.

Cons

Sometimes you'll feel lost because of the fast past and the intensity of the program but honestly, it will just make you a better learner, professional, and person. I would suggest taking a 10$ udemy course on HTML, CSS, and Javascript...See more

During the COVID crisis, they claimed bankruptcy, disappeared from a sudden and abandoned us. Of course they didn't give any explanation nor returned any money. Now there are no COVID restriction they opened again without communicating with the students that were affected. During the course, all they gave us were some youtube links of free resources and even the softwares we used were a trial. Basically a scam.

Pros

We had a fun time, but that's not worth 6.000 euros

Designed for students with absolutely no prior programming knowledge, you will learn to code and become a Front-End “MERN Stack” Developer (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Vue, and Bootstrap to name a few), and “MERN Stack” (MongoDB, Express, React and Node.js). Because the program covers both front and back-end programming, after 500hrs, you'll become a full stack developer, ready to land a job in the opportunity-rich world of tech. This program is aimed at anyone that wants to get their coding career started. “MERN” is an acronym for four tools: MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js. These four tools, when integrated together as a stack architecture, allow you to perform certain back-end functions without having to learn a whole new back-end language. While traditional back-end languages like Java remain very popular both with developers and companies, “MERN Stack” is growing in popularity and is a vital addition to the coder’s toolset.
