I had a great experience

- I like how they focus solely on JavaScript, so I can really go in depth about some of the computer science concepts like data structures, algorithm, and different technologies. - great projects design. The way they structure the projects is loosely coupled. So you get the benefit of working in a team, but also you have the ownership of certain components. It gives you good talking points for your resume.
Pros
- They not only teach you technical stuff, but also prep you mentally for job searching. The career service after graduation is very helpful, and I didn't realize how important it is to have your mindset right and sometimes you really...
Cons
- It is a very fast paced and intense bootcamp! - not that many lecture time, which could be a good thing for some people as well.

Excellent Experience - Second Remote Cohort

I really enjoyed attending Hackbright Academy. The experience was intense and geared to replicating a balanced work week. Class was 40 hours a week with nightly homework or project work and weekend skills assessments about half of the weeks with a break during weeks we needed to work on our projects. Pros
The class was really well structured with labs and project work to reinforce the material. We had two weeks at the end that focussed on the job search and career development. There is such a huge alumni and mentor network that whenever we...
Cons
I was in the second remote cohort. Sometimes Zoom would lag or crash. Definitely improved with the recommended Ethernet cable. Also, we were given the option to use a Windows machine or a Mac. I started on Windows but soon switched as...
