Absolutely horrible place to be as a woman. My personal experience is that literally one of the security guards in the Amsterdam facility claims that because his 'love language' is physical touch, he is now allowed to touch any female student he wants. If you're like me and tell him not to, he goes into a rage.
The first victim that went to the faculty to tell them about this was a few years ago. And personally I know multiple girls that have experienced the same.

It is incredibly hard, but your peers, exercises, atmosphere, make it a a great experience. Honestly the hardest thing I have done when it comes to intellectual exercises. I had to open up to people all the time and be open not knowing, because I could not figure out everything my self, I had to contribute to the conversation, I had to put my self a side to help others with code, with emotional support, believe me 10-12h 7 days a week for a month, behind a screen is brutal, ohh but so worth it....
