TL;DR I heard about Designation through a friend of mine who had completed the program a few years ago. She only had good things to say to me about the program, and kept repeating the mantra "you get out what you put in". After having gone through the program myself, I can safely say that this is 100% true. Pros

Great support staff + curriculum, opportunity to work with real startups, site visits + networking with reputed companies, relocating to Chicago (fun city!)

Cons

Post-grad job search can be daunting if you're looking in an area where Designation doesn't have a ton of connections, relocating to Chicago (cold!)

Life change in my case. I didn't have any previous experience in the field, so I started from the beginning. My first step was an informal conversation with the program director. General questions about my background, experience and why I’m interested in the program.
