There has never been a better time to learn user experience design than right now. For anyone interested in a career as a UX designer, the employment demand for these skills is at an all-time high and is showing no signs of slowing down. The process of creating the outward-facing appearance of a website or application is referred to as user interface (UI) design, while the process of gathering research and using data to inform design decisions is referred to as user experience (UX) design. In this program, you will learn both. Live, Online Instruction: You will be paired with an industry professional that will guide you through our job-ready curriculum which includes over 300 learning hours in the form of instruction, recorded lessons, quizzes, assignments, projects, and labs. Flexible Learning Schedule: Learn the skills you need to launch your career without quitting your job. You will meet regularly with your cohort instructor through 1:1 sessions, group projects, and design reviews. Unlimited Career Support: Work 1:1 with a dedicated career coach to identify your post-Bootcamp goals and create a personalized strategy to achieve them. We provide unlimited carer support until you land a job. Project-Baed Learning: Individual and team-based projects prepare you to work in a real career environment. Your capstone project will be sponsored by a client from a real company or organization that has a design problem for you to solve.

Over the course of 24 weeks, you will learn how to plan, build, and deploy software using Javascript on the browser (front-end), server (back-end), and database (persistence) of a full-stack web application. Starting with the programming fundamentals, you will quickly move into higher-level concepts such as data structures, page layout, interactivity, client-server architecture, component-based front-end design, databases, collaboration using source control, and agile project management. Each topic will be solidified using mini-challenges, lab exercises, code reviews, and weekly projects. The projects you create throughout the program will be used to build your portfolio, which will serve as a showcase of your work, and a valuable asset in your job hunt. You will also have several sessions with a professional career mentor through one-on-one coaching sessions and multiple workshops. In the final unit of the program, you will work on a small team with classmates to develop a complete product or service. This is what we call your “capstone project”. At the end of the program, you will demonstrate your capstone project to an audience of hiring partners and tech community members at our Demo Day event.
