Our class instructor, Alex, brought the material to life through practical applications and experiences. I would say the course curriculum itself serves as a decent guide - but the class activities, instructor, classmates are what bring the course to life. Post graduation, it seems like the network, alumni and support is becoming increasingly relevant
Pros
Great overview, networking opportunity, introduction to PM community
Cons
Curriculum itself (slides, structure) could be much more rigorous, animated and better thought out.

I went to product school as I was making a career transition from business analysis to product management. A friend had recommended it to see if I really liked it. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking of switching to this career choice. They give you a great foundational start and basically give you a great overview of what being a PM is like. The instructors are PM professionals themselves with a wealth of knowledge who are kind and patient enough to answer any and all questions, while...
Pros
- Great instructors - Great foundational start as a PM - Flexible (they have online and in-person classes) - You could attend ProductCon, which is a great place for networking with other PM professionals and aspirants
Cons
A bit expensive

Only good for the certificate. No learning and disingenuous management.

I graduated from an accelerated week-long cohort at the end of June-early July. My experience going through this experience was highly disappointing and not pleasant at all. 1. I had enrolled in a cohort in May initially. I asked to be reassigned to an 8-week cohort beginning June and ending in July with an instructor I found with more relevant experience and student reviews (based on their profile on LinkedIn...more on that later)- Dr Joel Palathinkal. This reassignment was confirmed and I...
Pros
The Slack channel with a Job portal and regular AMA guests.
Cons
The disingenuous instructor, the lack of care for student experience, the lack of communication by the programs team about instructor changes, the remedial process is half-hearted. Overall not worth $4000. Better to read PM-related books.
