I went to the bootcamp in spring 2021 and am overall happy with it as it resulted in getting a job. For me it took a year to land a job, but that was because I didn’t feel ready and wasn’t active applying until after 9 months from graduating. For me the bootcamp was very intense, fast paced, and I also worked jag part time. I would say that I spent 30-40 hours a week for the bootcamp, not 20. It was also hard to find time for the pair and mobprogramming as many of us had different schedules.
Pros
It got me a job, it’s remote, you get career coaching, a Network of other junior developers and so on. You practice pair and min programming which I thought was great.
Cons
It’s very fast paced. If you don’t have any previous experience and plan to work at the same time, I would recommend to work less than 50%. For me 50% was too much and I had trouble to hand in the projects in time and was stressing a lot.

Fun, creative and fast-paced

I took the bootcamp during spring 2021 and I highly recommend it. The instructors are great, always eager to help. The bootcamp is very fast-paced which is important to remember, but for everyone willing to put in time and effort, this is a great way to quickly achieve a career change or to improve coding skills.
Pros
* New projects every week * Fun and interesting lessons * Lot of team work, which makes the experience even better
Cons
* Requires that you are willing to really put in the time and effort needed in order not to fall behind

Intense course but well worth it

I’m very happy with the bootcamp. I had no previous coding knowledge and this provided me with a solid understanding of all the fundamentals as well as touching on fields for further exploration. I think understanding how it’s all connected and getting into a good coding-routine would have been difficult on my own. I didn’t understand beforehand how much of it would be team-related, which might have discouraged me as I always prefer working solo. But it’s obvious now that sharing the studying...
Pros
I had a great team and we became really good friends. The tempo makes you feel like you’re constantly progressing which works as a great motivator. Online only felt very natural, good remote-work solutions. Helped me become more fluent...
Cons
Heard from other students that some teams didn’t have as good group dynamic as ours. For them it was a bit more lonely experience. Hard to participate fully in group projects and meetings while simultaneously having a day-job. Hard to...
