One of the biggest thing for me was the support you get along the way from beginning to end. If you are thinking of getting stared do it from a non technical background I vouch for the program and guidance and all the endless opportunities.

- Stellar Instructor - Instructor had autonomy to adapt class to his style / strengths / vision

- I did not experience the job support phase because I was already happily employed, but hear it can be a challenging time

By now I am sure you have already read reviews about the quality of the teachers and the curriculum. I can confirm they are both outstanding. However what I want to share to about the location, the downtown Austin location to be exact. You see I was fortunate enough to have section 101 in person before the 2020 pandemic hit and we switched to online. It was truly a developers paradise. Pros

- The downtown location - Their seamless transition to Online courses during the pandemic - The teachers (Matthew Huntsberry was my favorite) - The Full Stack Program

Cons

There was one instructor that was just not good. I think they mostly had difficulty transitioning to online courses. However this persons overall personality didn't sit well with myself or my classmates. I will not say this persons name.

Austin Coding Academy's 10-week WordPress Development Track is part of a unique collaboration between Austin Coding Academy and WP Engine, the global leader in WordPress hosting. During this track, students will dive deep into WordPress development and design, developing all of the necessary skills to graduate ready to pursue a career in WordPress Development. In addition to learning technical WordPress skills, students will also develop customer support skills and be offered a guaranteed interview with WP Engine for the position of Technical Support Specialist. This full-time role is a part of WP Engine's Customer Experience team and is responsible for providing WordPress support to WP Engine clients.
