The school helped take a very daunting and complex subject and broke it down into easily digestible pieces. In the four month course, I learned the basics of being a full-stack developer, which would lead to excellent jobs.

Pros

Great Teachers. Excellent Course Structure. Encouraged Teamwork. Thorough Explanation of Concepts.

When the IT company that I worked for decided to close the KC office after working for them over 20 years I decided it was time to upgrade to a newer coding platform. Fortunately because of the office closing I was able to get my tuition paid for otherwise if might have been more difficult to afford this course. All of the instructors were very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions about issue you were having about any assignments.

As a career over the road truck driver, I went to Centriq just trying to get into IT. The first 2 weeks were extremely hard due to the sheer amount of information being passed. Every instructor there is so passionate about what they are doing and believe in it so much that it transfers to the students. From day one, they had you focused on two things. The Application/Web Developer (or Coding) training is based primarily on Microsoft’s enterprise .NET C# (Visual Studio) development platform which is utilized by a vast majority of Kansas City employers. However, just as the technology workplace is integrating and utilizing more and newer open source coding tools, students are also exposed to the newest technologies. Students enrolled in the program will receive all necessary courseware, a laptop computer (which the student keeps), supplemental study materials, supplemental seminars and workshops, placement assistance and other student services and access to post-graduation continuing education events.
