Data Science is a multidisciplinary topic that focuses on gaining insights from massive databases and processing them to extract value. It derives knowledge from organized and unstructured data using algorithms, techniques, and systems. Data Sciences uses data analytics and machine learning to do predictive analysis that may be utilized to assist make better decisions. The data science lifecycle starts with acquiring data from relevant sources, pre-processing (cleaning) the data to guarantee it can be used by machine learning, and lastly finding patterns and trends using statistical approaches and ML algorithms. These models are designed and built to anticipate outcomes that are then interpreted by the company. It’s also known as information technology security or electronic information security.
