The course was 3 months long and covered everything you would need to know to be able to get an entry level job as a developer. The training was fast paced but manageable and you would come away each day feeling like you had really learned alot from being there. If you're interested in a course like this I'd highly recommend it. However, go into this fully aware that this will require your dedicated time and effort for the next 3 months. You will absolutely get out of it what you put in so...
Fast paced learning. You will see yourself grow technically. Opportunity to work on real world projects and collaborate in a team - skills that will make you very desirable to employers. Staff who genuinely care about your development.
I was in the first intake so there were times that the course felt haphazardly put together (but no doubt that won't be the case now). General teething problems that come with setting up a course for the first time. There is a high cost...

Who started Career Karma?

Created 2 years ago

So Career Karma was started by Artur, Ruben and myself out of our own struggles career transitioning into Tech. Our journey took place in 2014-2015 and if it wasn't for the three of us doing it together we wouldn't be here today. Once we got our high paying jobs in tech and I was working as a Software Engineer ... I say an incredible opportunity for others like me who were trying to learn how to code on their own but failing to complete their transition. Three years into us...

How do you successfully pass the technical interviews for Flatiron and Hack Reactor (Software Engineering and Cyber Analytics) ?

Created 2 years ago

Good question. They are very different so I would recommend doing prep courses for both to try it out. However, then decide which specialty you're most interested in and go for those technical interviews. In preparation, definitely complete the prep course. The next steps for you should be to ask the admissions officer about the type of questions that are going to be on the technical interviews. What resources do they recommend you review to get accepted? What they think will...
