OpenClassrooms frontend path is very beginner-friendly that has all the things you need to know if you are applying for a junior dev job. From documentation to Wordpress, to building apps and projects in plain html, css and then moving on to React and Software testing. The projects are clear, goal oriented and really develop your skills as you move along the path.

If you have good enough knowledge of particular domains, you won't find much content here that will improve your skills, they are great for beginners and maybe intermediate level as they introduce best practices but nothing in details.

OC is an online school that issues very specific diplomas in IT, that’s what convinced me. To obtain the diploma, you have to validate all the path’s projects.

Pros

- interesting projects - nice support - courses are very good, and intuive, well explained

Cons

- I think it’s a pity to see the mentor only once a week.

My journey at OC is an amazing one, i have learnt a lot so far when it comes to Software development and associated standards, there are actually people out there who write codes to get something working and obviously they do get result at the end of the day but the problem is that they do so without respecting standards /best practices and architecture where required which make the developed system not as efficient as it ought to be (Not always the case with all apps though) or not scalable...See more
