Our Master of Science in Instructional Technology program trains graduates in the effective use of instructional technology in schools (K-12), colleges, universities, and business and industry settings. Upon successful completion of the Teacher Certification Track, students who already hold a New York State initial teacher certification will be eligible for NYS professional teacher certification as an Educational Technology Specialist, as well as a UFT contract 30 credits above the master's salary differential. Students who complete the Corporate Trainer Track will obtain the necessary skills to work as a Corporate Trainer, Instructional Designer, or Staff Developer. If a graduate student follows the NYS Teacher Certification Track, the graduate can prepare for a career as a(an): Computer Lab Teacher/ Technology Teacher, Computer Cluster Teacher, Database Manager, Professional Staff Developer, Instructional Technology Coordinator, Director of Technology If a graduate student follows the Corporate Trainer Track, the graduate can prepare for a career as a(an): Corporate Trainer, Corporate Staff Developer/Teacher/Trainer, Online Course Developer, Distance Learning Specialist, Educational Sales Representative, Instructional Designer

The Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program is a natural fit for those who are ready for an advanced degree in computer science, acquiring the necessary tools to upgrade and fine-tune both one’s managerial and technological skills. Our dynamic program is designed to shape the next generation of technology leaders, offering concentrations in Network Administration and Cybersecurity, Data Analytics and Database Systems, Technology Leadership/Project Management, and Web and Applicant Development, as well as core courses in technical management and cloud computing.
