I can't speak highly enough about this program. On top of teaching the core SDR skills, this program utilized skills I have learned in other industries and honed them for an SDR position. Satellite supported me from start to finish and did so professionally.

Pros

- FREE (yes, no catches, no hidden fees, FREE) - Amazing mentors and coaches - Start to finish support - Manageable workload and expectations

Cons

- Classes are in large groups (ours was 30+). I bring this up as a con because I know for some people this may be a challenging environment to learn in. (Side note, there is a lot of 1 on 1 teaching available). - A job is NOT promised. ...See more

Satellite's team has plenty of very skilled industry veterans who know how to guide a beginner through the learning process of being an SDR. They provide a great training program that keeps you on the edge of your comfort zone while supporting you the entire way through!

Pros

Amazing communication and feedback! A huge support network of former graduates. Teach you many skills that will help you beyond your role as an SDR. A fun learning environment.

Going into this 6 week program, I had very limited knowledge about the SDR role and tech sales. Every session and assignment gave me a greater insight into B2B sales and what is expected of a successful SDR.

Pros

There are many optional events we can attend to further our knowledge and build upon the skills we learned. Coaches are always available to meet one on one and provide support in the areas we seek support.

Cons

In an accelerated course, time can be limited. Although there are many time slots outside of session hours, I would have benefited from an extra week or longer sessions.
