Being a part of the satellite SDR Bootcamp program was very beneficial. From the training coaches to the curriculum. The program itself was a great jump start to the SDR career. The support and training that you receive from the coaches are more than you can ask for. They turn an uncomfortable situation into a comfortable one. I defiantly recommend this program for anyone who's interested in jumpstarting their career in the SDR role as it gives you all the tools, and coaching you need to be...
Pros
Awesome support team, great coaching, training, and teaching methods. Great curriculum
Cons
I only wish resume prep was before our mock and final assessment interviews.

Satellite provides vital information for anyone interested in a career in tech sales. Their supportive coaches guide you through exercises, and they always have your best interests in mind. I came into Satellite with absolutely no knowledge or background in sales. After graduating, I left feeling confident and fully prepared to start a career that would change my life for the better.
Pros
They are on-top of giving you feedback, and their constructive criticism is given in a supportive manner. The coaches always make sure you feel included. They provide a safe space for anyone who is nervous when tackling new ideas. This...
Cons
I faced no cons in my time with Satellite and enjoyed every aspect. Some potential students may not enjoy having large classrooms, but they do a great job of limiting the amount of lecture-like meetings. We spent most of our time in small...

Satellite taught me everything I needed to know about the SDR role thoroughly and quickly! Thanks to everything they taught me and their employee network, I am at the beginning of a really great opportunity in the tech sales world. Their teaching method and the mentorship they provide are really great. I love their mission of democratizing access to the tech sales world.
Pros
Thorough practice of cold-calling, gained coaches and mentors, learned the ins and outs of the SDR/BDR role
Cons
Would have loved to have spent time developing a sales cadence, rather than the focus on calls and emails.

This eight-week training program exceeded any and all expectations I had coming in. My goal at the beginning was to just get the basic knowledge about the tech industry. I ended up growing my knowledge about the industry and specific tools and strategies to actually sell the product. The twice-a-week simulations were planned out perfectly, they were two hours each, but it felt like I was on the computer for no more than 45 minutes. The pre-work they set up for you translates into the learning...
Pros
The mentors and coaches are there with you all the way through. They want you to succeed and that gives you a sense of confidence that is next to none. Group learning allows you to learn at an accelerated rate, being able to hear another...
Cons
Unfortunately, participants are removed from the program that is not hitting their norms and requirements. This is something that puts a special drive in me. If you are a person who aims for the bare minimum, this is not the program for...

I can't speak highly enough about this program. On top of teaching the core SDR skills, this program utilized skills I have learned in other industries and honed them for an SDR position. Satellite supported me from start to finish and did so professionally.
Pros
- FREE (yes, no catches, no hidden fees, FREE) - Amazing mentors and coaches - Start to finish support - Manageable workload and expectations
Cons
- Classes are in large groups (ours was 30+). I bring this up as a con because I know for some people this may be a challenging environment to learn in. (Side note, there is a lot of 1 on 1 teaching available). - A job is NOT promised. ...

The beautiful thing about Satellite is that they provide a pathway forward for people from different areas and industries. Not only do they teach you what is needed to be a successful SDR/BDR in the tech space, they pull from your previous experiences and hone the skills you have already developed. This program rewards you equal to the effort you put in.
Pros
- FREE (Seriously, no catches, no hidden payments, FREE) - 2 classes per week, 8-10 pm EST, 5-10 hours of homework. Very manageable while still working at other positions (I did instacart while in the Bootcamp). - Experienced/personal...
Cons
- It is a group format. Our group had 30+ students at the start. This was not a con for me, but I could see it being difficult for certain people to learn in such an environment. (Side note, mentors do offer a lot of 1 on 1, so it is not...
