The tech Academy was the greatest school experience I've ever had. I came in really knowing nothing about coding and learned so much in such a short amount of time. The instructors were all really amazing friendly and very knowledgeable on diverse coding questions. I had such an amazing experience i think I'm going to go back for their game development course even though I know they provided me with the tools to learn on my own.
Pros
Really everything about it i had no issues at all
Cons
None i really enjoyed this bootcamp

Super Flexible Boot Camp

I signed up for the online C# and .NET Framework Boot Camp through The Tech Academy in February of 2022 and graduated 4 months later in June. It was a thorough program and I was pleased to see how much information was incorporated into the courses. My primary reason for choosing The Tech Academy was their flexibility and marketing transparency. At The Tech Academy, my first course was Computer and Technology Basics which was exactly as described on their website. This opening course primarily...
Pros
Flexibility - The Tech Academy's boot camps allow you to study whenever you want to with the main exception of the live project. This flexibility was the deciding factor in my choice of online program. Comprehensiveness - All of the...
Cons
Relatively Inactive Alumni Discord Server - After graduating, I was given access to a Discord server for alumni which is moderated by TTA staff, but the activity level is quite low. Short Live Project - It would have been nice to have the...

Going in I only knew a few things about coding and with the Tech Academy’s curriculum it really teaches you everything you need to know about why and how everything works and what everything means. The Projects you do are also very helpful and teach you a lot of how to work with a team and what it can be like to work in the industry. Overall a great experience and they continue helping you until you find a job!
Pros
Learned many skills throughout the program. Programming Languages and Terms as well as Resume Building
Cons
I can’t think of any cons of the program

Very comprehensive, beginner-level introduction to coding

Completing the Tech Academy's C# bootcamp is a very good way to learn a lot of the most basic things you'll need to learn if you're interested in getting a job in the tech field--especially if you're coming in as a complete beginner.
Pros
The curriculum is very comprehensive. You can begin while knowing very little about coding, learn the basics of computer science and of several languages, and start doing the things you'll have to do on the job once you get hired in tech...
Cons
More advanced students are likely to not profit much from the first parts of the bootcamp, as it begins at a *very* rudimentary level. Also, becuase the course covers so much ground, it's inevitable that you'll forget a lot of what you...

First off I want to say everyone at the tech academy was super helpful. All the professors were there for you whenever you needed them and to have that type of support alone was wonderful. The curriculum was so informative and very helpful. It was a mixture of a series of reading and videos and it really did help me as I’m a visual learner! I would recommend the tech academy to anyone who is literally just beginning and wanting to be in the tech space!
Pros
I loved the live project. It was so much fun to really put everything you learned into action!
Cons
I have a hard time pushing myself and making a schedule. So if you’re someone like me, make sure you definitely make a schedule for yourself so you don’t fall behind!

This program can take someone who barely knows how to use a computer to a full stack developer if they're willing to follow instructions, listen to instructors when they offer advice, and are willing to put in the work.
Pros
The instructors: Not only are the instructors very knowledgeable about all of the topics covered in the boot camp, they are also incredibly helpful when you have questions. There must be a strict screening process to find good instructors,...
Cons
If you are in the remote program (not in Portland or SLC), it is very much a self-paced program, which can be occasionally difficult in itself. The motivation lies solely on yourself racing against the clock, aka: the amount of time you...

I'm in all honesty glad and absolutely blessed to have been to The Tech Academy. They not only helped me learn how to become a proper developer, but assisted me with different learning tactics that best suited me as well as honed my skills in debugging scenarios that I still use to this day. Thanks to them I am now a successful Software Engineer with a great company and I absolutely love it. I have all the freedom I ever dreamed of and they still to this day provide valuable information weekly...
Pros
Loved it, great self-paced learning environment with amazing instructors who push you to learn as you truly would in the actual field. Great curriculum and a chance to really get down and dirty with the code!
Cons
You have to be hard on yourself to keep it up and maintain a schedule, if you can do that then there aren't really too many cons, the rest of it is just simple. Just need to keep your head down and keep believing that you'll make it to the...

I took the UI/UX designers course. It was pretty all encompassing for a junior developer. Started with the basics of how computers work and built from there to python, html, css, javascript, etc. The last portion of the class was the specific UI/UX course which taught skills in adobe photoshop and XD. I'm still on the job hunt but they have been really helpful during that process. The last course is a job placement course which teaches you how to build a really good resume and cover letter and...

The Tech Academy's C# & .NET online bootcamp was thoroughly enlightening with vast amounts of information spanning across many topics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, etc.) The program kept me accountable and trudging through new topics every day. This was exactly what I needed to set a more consistent foundation to my understanding of computers and development, as I had only a brief view of C# coming from past scripting in the Unity Engine. This bootcamp cleared up misconceptions and certainly...
