I think Holberton School is an amazing place to learn to program and develop the soft skills that the industry needs. I highly recommend his methodology focused on preparing well qualified engineers

Its program is intensive focused on preparing you as a software engineer, it has no filler subjects and its peer learning methodology improves the learning experience
Cons
I think that if you do not have any prior knowledge it will be very hard because it is a super intensive program so you cannot work during the 2 year program time either
