Career Karma and Climb Credit have partnered to offer a $5,000 scholarship to one lucky entry in their giveaway. The winner can use this scholarship at one of the four top bootcamps available: Galvanize, Springboard, App Academy, and Hack Reactor.
$5k is a big dent in the tuition for most students, and it will go a long way toward paying for coding bootcamp. Depending on the school, this scholarship could cover nearly half of the cost of a mainline course.
To enter the contest, students simply need to fill out their name and email address. All participants, even those that do not win the drawing, will get access to a free ebook on how to start a career in tech and instant access to a bootcamp student for 1-on-1 coaching.
Climb Credit is a student lending platform well known in the bootcamp space and beyond, from flight schools to culinary arts programs. Climb offers many highly flexible loan formats for students with varying credit histories and financial situations. They aim to partner with practical schools that deliver career results as opposed to education programs with unclear student outcomes.
Career Karma is a community-based platform that provides career coaching, job training preparation, and a strong peer network to those looking to break into the tech field. Career Karma does so by helping students find, enroll, and succeed in coding bootcamps without charge.
Students who attend the above bootcamps get the opportunity to learn topics like:
- Web Development
- Web Design
- Data Science
- Cybersecurity
- Mobile App Development
- And many other top tech career paths.
They can also expect to start a career in these fields with the knowledge they gain from the above schools, who provide career services for every student.
It’s important to note that the scholarship only applies to courses starting after the end of the contest and ending no later than October of this year. Further, the scholarship cannot be applied retroactively to a course that the winner is already attending.
Submissions are open from Wednesday, 4/1 at 12:00am EST through Wednesday, 4/15 at 11:59am EST
