Web Development Workshop
- Webinar Dates: April 16, 2022 (4pm PST); June 25, 2022 (3.30pm PST)
- Program Length: 3 hours
The Web Development workshop is a hands-on workshop, teaching participants to build a functional web page from scratch using HTML and CSS.
Data Science Workshop
- Webinar Date: March 26, 2022 (5pm PST); April 30, 2022 (4pm PST)
- Program Length: 3 hours
The Data Science Workshop covers the basics of SQL and provides tools for interacting with databases and entity-relationship diagrams. This workshop is ideal if you want to dip your toes into data science.
Le Wagon’s Diversity Scholarship
Le Wagon’s Diversity Scholarship offers financial aid to incentivize more women to join the coding bootcamp. The scholarship offer depends on the campus you apply to. For instance, Le Wagon’s Canada campus offers a $1,000 tuition discount for full-time and part-time training programs.
Below are the eligibility requirements to qualify for the scholarship.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- You must be a Canadian resident
- Candidates must have been admitted into the bootcamp
- Applicants identify with underrepresented groups in tech (Women, Black, LatinX, Indigenous, LGBTQ+)

Annmarie da Silva: From Majoring in Foreign Languages to Mastering Coding Languages
Annmarie majored in foreign languages in college and bagged a degree in Arts. Afterward, she worked in various industries—one in the real estate sector—but found them to lack novelty. She called it quits and rekindled her childhood passion: tech.
Annmarie didn’t have to start from scratch as she had prior knowledge of HTML and CSS. So, she decided to self-learn and practiced coding for several months. However, everything changed for her when she decided to enroll in Le Wagon’s nine-week Web Development Bootcamp.
She found the course completely different from anything she had done in the past. She particularly enjoyed the pair programming exercises, instructor-led classes, and web dev challenges. Through a wide range of hands-on projects, Annmarie vastly improved her coding skills.
Annmarie secured an internship at a fintech startup just one month after graduating from Le Wagon’s bootcamp.
Eva Nguyen: From Project to Product
With degrees in science and business management along with her experience working in strategy consulting, Eva Nguyen has had significant exposure in the business world. And it’s this exposure that led her to realize the challenges of leveraging data. This, coupled with the need to understand programmers better, propelled her to learn how to code.
Eva joined Le Wagon’s Data Science bootcamp, which equipped her with the skills to take a data-driven approach to solving real-world problems. Together with her team, they built a machine learning model that can predict the number of streams that a particular song will get—a valuable measure for gauging a song’s potential revenue.
Now, Eva works with her team members from Le Wagon in developing a minimum viable product (MVP) built off of their project at the bootcamp.
